Farmers & Gardeners Needed For A Moment

Fellow California farmers, growers, and gardeners take a minute and let's try to make some change. Our friends at UCCE have created a survey that all of us should not only fill out, but also share within the agricultural community.

This survey will collect important information about how urban farmers and gardeners across California access water, are affected by drought, and the types of support that would be most helpful. Survey results will be used to help service providers and policymakers develop programs and policies that will support urban farmers and gardeners in meeting their water needs.

Growing Communities, Inc. dba Crop Swap LA ™

We acknowledge the Gabrielino/Tongva peoples as the traditional land caretakers of Tovaangar (the Los Angeles basin and So. Channel Islands). We pay our respects to the Honuukvetam (Ancestors), ‘Ahiihirom (Elders) and ‘Eyoohiinkem (our relatives/relations) past, present and emerging.

They are the First Peoples of the region, their lands were unceded, they did not negotiate a treaty with Mexico or the US government.

Today, the First Peoples of Los Angeles struggle every day for their sovereignty.
